Perilla oil is a dietary supplement with alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3) and therefore an excellent source of unsaturated vegetable fatty acids. The important omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid is even contained in it with a proportion of over 60%. From this important omega-3 fatty acid, the "fish oil fatty acids" eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and decosahexaenoic acid (DHA) can be formed in the body. Compared to these, it has the decisive advantage that it is less susceptible to oxidation and the obtrusive fish taste is eliminated.
