Origin and extraction:
Jojoba oil JOJOSKIN® is an extract of fruit grown in the Atacama desert in northern Chile, an area where there is no pollution. This desert is located between the Andes and the Pacific Ocean and is one of the driest areas in the world. The jojoba plants find ideal growing conditions there: Soils rich in various minerals, as well as a natural condensation due to the high temperature difference between day and night, which ensures their water supply. The soils are worked according to the ancestral method (manually or with draft animals) to avoid any pollution by petroleum. No pesticides or artificial fertilizers are used. The soils are naturally rich in minerals. For this reason, any addition of fertilizers is unnecessary. Jojoba is harvested once a year and mechanically cold pressed. The oil obtained is clarified over the natural period of time, without the use of centrifugation, in order to preserve the quality of the product, in the purest sense of the ancient cultures.
Physical and chemical properties: JOJOSKIN® is 100% pure and natural, has a golden yellow color, is odorless and oxidation-free. In a dry place protected from light, it keeps for several years without any risk of decomposition. Its consistency is comparable to that of liquid wax. At an ambient temperature of 7°C or less, it turns into a solid state. When its container is placed in a lukewarm water bath, it returns to its liquid state without losing its properties. It is mainly composed of esters of unsaturated fatty acids as well as alcohol esters, although no triglyceride is present. Besides proteins and vitamin E, JOJOSKIN® naturally contains 96% ceramides, which coat the cells of the dermis and regulate their natural hydration. This prevents oxidation and the formation of free radicals, which are the most common causes of skin aging. Its molecules are most similar to those of human ceramides, ensuring optimal absorption. In addition, a chemical analysis has revealed that it contains eight aromas, while other jojoba oils contain only four of them.
Application and qualities
Body care: suitable for children, women and men. Moisturizing after bathing. Can be used as a day or night cream. For use in acne-prone areas. Regulates the flow of sebum. Completely odorless. Allows application of your favorite perfume after use.

Shaving Balm: Soothes the skin after shaving and moisturizes it to the depth. Gives the skin a well-groomed appearance. Allows the application of its own aftershave after the application of the oil, avoiding the burning of the aftershave.
Infants: recommended for children due to its nourishing properties, its content of vitamins and proteins. Ideally suited for the massage of infants. For use after daily bath and skin cleansing. Nourishes children's skin, soothes redness and helps with eczema and skin irritations.
Hair: for dry and greasy hair. Gives shine and softness, revitalizes the hair and protects the ends. The ceramides reduce the formation of split ends. Contains linoleic acid, which dissolves excess sebum - the main cause of dandruff and hair loss. Apply a few drops to dry or wet hair, leave overnight, and wash hair in the morning as usual. Recommended for hair exposed to wind, sun or in contact with salt water.
Massage: Ideally suited for use in combination with essential oils. Leaves a non-greasy film after application. As it is absorbed into the skin, the beneficial effects of the essential oils are enhanced. Ideal to use together with the silicone massage cupping set (article D.110.0060) for lymphatic drainage massage.
