Barley grass is a dark green leafy vegetable with a wide range of ingredients. The cereal grasses are cultivated according to organic farming guidelines. The growing areas include optimally landscaped areas of certified nutrient-rich land. Special care is taken to prevent contamination from possible drift from surrounding cultivated fields. No public roads pass through these fields, which eliminates the possibility of pollution from exhaust fumes and dust. The cereal grasses are taken directly from the field for gentle processing.
